As Nova, Sam Alexander was a member of various superhero teams. Below are the teams and short issue summaries of the Nova-centric storylines.


New Warriors

Following the apparent death of Richard Rider in the Cancerverse, the legacy of Nova was passed onto Sam Alexander. Sam Alexander Nova became a member of the most recent regrouping of the New Warriors by Justice and Speedball.

Sam Alexander Nova appeared in most of the fifth volume of New Warriors. None of the twelve issues centered on Nova specifically.


All-New, All-Different Avengers

Following his involvement in the battle with the Phoenix Force, Sam Alexander was offered a place in the Avengers by Thor.

However, Sam's mother initially refused to let him join the team. She later allowed him to join the New Warriors.

Sam helped the Avengers in their battle with Tomazooma and later against the Red Skull. Sam officially became a member of the All-New, All-Different Avengers when the Avengers reformed as a number of different teams.

The Champions

Following the events of Civil War II, a group of teenaged heroes decided to split off from their respectives teams and form a new one in order to fight threats.
