Eve Bakian, her family, Thanos, Star-Lord, Groot and Gamora land in Magus City. They are met by the city's leader who calls himself Adam. Adam is also the possessor of the Soul Stone. By his side are his guards who are introduced as the Knights of Xandar.

Eve attempts to pursuade Adam to give her the Soul Stone so she can save Xandar. Magus City's protector explains that he doesn't rule his people and they are his family. Menzin Bakian asks him how he is able to protect his city from the alien bugs. Adam explains that he does it by his will alone. He turns to Eve and rejects her demand for the Soul Stone.

The female leader of the Nova Corps tells the protector of Magus City to go to hell and begins powering up the Infinity Gauntlet! She explains that the gauntlet built by the Nova Corps was designed to hold all six stones, it can only wield the power of a single stone at a time. In order to use the four stones presently in the gauntlet, Eve activates the gauntlet which transforms into the Infinity Armor!

Adam orders his Knights to attack the visitors to the city. As her companions and family fight the Knights of Xandar, Eve Bakian launches into battle with the leader of Magus City. As she swings a powerful punch towards Adam, the possessor of the Soul Stone uses the gem in an attempt to steal Eve's soul!

As she fights back against Adam with pure will power, Gamora and Star-Lord continue battling an armored duo who fights as one being. As they begin pounding on their foe, there is a sudden explosion as Drax arrives!

Drax is seeking Thanos and believes Star-Lord knows where he is and is angered when Peter tells him differently. Meanwhile, Gamora continues the fight with the armored Knight. She slices off the head of the large robotic body but is knocked across the room in a counter punch by her enemy. Groot is also being attacked by a Knight of Xandar with metal tendrils!

In another part of the castle, Menzin Bakian battles a woman with electrical powers. At the same time, his daughters Anwen and Fayne battle a fire-based Knight named Scathe.

Menzin attempts to race to their aid but is grabbed by his foe. In a burst of anger, the pacifist unleashed a blast straight into her face and knocks her out!

As he takes out Scathe, Fayne calls out to ZigZag for help. The canine flies in and begins ripping the fiery foe apart!

Anwen realizes that Thanos was wrong when he told her that family is a weakness. She suggests to Fayne to think of the Knight's head as a soccer ball. As Scathe is finally able to toss ZigZag to the side, she turns only to get kicked in the side of the head by Fayne! She flies straight into Anwen's waiting fist!

Meanwhile, Gamora figures out that the smaller armored body is in control of both bodies. Her attacker attempts to smash her into the ground and then releases a large blade from the arm of the armor. However, Gamora had cut through it with her own blade when her foe had attacked. As a result, the armored Knight's arm explodes into pieces! Now fully exposed, the Knight can only watch helplessly as Gamora slices his organic body in half!

Elsewhere, Adam and Eve are battling fiercely as the building around them begins to crumble from the force of their fight. The wearer of the Infinity Armor realizes the leader of Magus City is hiding something in the building. Adam admits that she will find out soon enough and blasts her with the Soul Stone.

Suddenly, they are having a conversation on a spiritual plane of existence. The stone's controller reveals that the Mind Stone requires Eve to use conscious control in order to influence people. However, the Soul Stone only needs him to align a person to what he wants. The person still retains control of the body and experiences bliss when they do what he desires. He also explains that he can control more than just people.

In response, Eve sees the gigantic leader of the alien bugs which have destroyed her world! She realizes Adam had been controlling it and he admits that he must keep it well fed.

Suddenly, a massive blast smashes the physical body of Adam through a wall. Thanos has arrived and angrily pounds the Soul Stone's controller to a pulp!

Eve thanks him and explains they need to kill the bug before it can kill everyone if it were to escape the stone's control. Thanos reveals that he is counting on the bug to do just that as he takes the Soul Stone from Adam's still body.

The allies of Eve and Drax have joined together after defeating the Knights of Xandar and turn to face Thanos. The mad Titan unleashes the power of the Soul Stone and the building begins to collapse! Eve Bakian screams that he'll kill everyone. Thanos corrects her by saying she will be spared and her Infinity Stones are now his. He then takes her soul into the gem!

Thanos continues his path of destruction and grabs Drax. He reveals to him that he could have killed Drax at any time but allowed him to pursue him out of boredom. Thanos informs Drax that he no longer needs the amusement he provides.

Thanos snaps Drax's neck as the Behemoth Bug frees itself into the city!
