Captain America Goes To War Against Drugs consisted of two issues featuring Captain America and the New Warriors. The heroes defend teenagers against alien drug dealers (the Tzin) who attempt to use drugs to conquer Earth. Nova and the New Warriors appear only in the second of the two issue story (Captain America Value #2).

This project was produced in cooperation with the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) and was sponsored by various companies including The New York State Association Of Life Underwriters, The Guardian, along with Farmer Jack and A&P Supermarkets. The free issues were distributed to schools.

The two issues were reprinted together in 1994 by Marvel as Captain America: The Drug Wars and was sold at local comic shops.
